Opinion Essay: Attitudes, Beliefs, and Obligations in My Academic and Professional Context

As an English teacher working with students in the field of Environmental Prevention and Control Technology at SENA, Colombia, I constantly reflect on my own attitudes, beliefs, and obligations in both my academic and professional life. These reflections help me identify what I have to do, what I must do, and what I should do in order to contribute positively to my students’ learning and to society in general. In this opinion essay, I will share my personal perspective, focusing on the academic context of technical and technological formation, as well as the professional environment related to environmental management.
