Opportunities Are Everywhere
from Business Your Way Hosted by Caryn Gillen
What do coaching and commercial fishing have in common? More than you might think. In today's episode, I relive my time on a commercial fishing boat with Captain and long-time friend, Tony Moran. Like many guests of the show, Tony is an amazing human and has his own unique way of doing things... Listen in as we talk about: - How to find and take advantage of the opportunities that surround you - Your responsibility, as a boss, to the people you hire - Following the money AND enjoying the heck out of your job - How being efficient really pays off - And, why everyone should find a great mentor Tony says, "where I live and work is one of the most beautiful places on the planet." I agree... the scenery and marine life we got to see every day on the boat was one of my favorite parts as well. Sit back and let us tell you about it! ----- Tony Moran is the Captain of the Tacoma. He resides in Petersburg, AK (where I'm from). And, has a 1600 Ton Master’s license - enabling him to operate the BIG boats. He supplies to Trident Seafoods. And, is very passionate about/would love us all to take a look at a cause that is near and dear to his heart: Stopping the Pebble Mine in Bristol Bay (https://stoppebbleminenow.org/). ----- For more business fun and exploration, as well as behind-the-scenes on each episode, join us over at The Playground - a free Facebook group for coaches.
