Over the last 30 years, I have tried many different methods of making a living for myself and supporting my family. I am by no means a financially wealthy person but I've enjoyed an interesting life and found a way to finance it along the way while being married and raising four children. I have been self-employed for most of the last 20 years but I have also worked a few years in the corporate world.  I thought I would share a few of the things I've tried or been exposed to for the purpose of sharing information that anyone may not have discovered. Nothing speculative and every one of them will take a full 100% commitment on your part for them to have any hope of succeeding. But if you are not willing to be all in on your own business then maybe something I say here could change that. I am a firm believer in having options not only in how I live my life but how I fund it also. If diversity in how you invest your money is a smart idea then why not in how you make your money as well?  And for some of us, gone are the days that a single income could provide enough to meet all of our financial needs. I started out working in a construction trade and my wife was able to stay home with our children. That is not very common these days. So maybe one of these ideas would help you or your significant other without having to turn to MLM and scare off your friends ;^) I am a believer in sharing knowledge and I that maximum effort will lead to maximum returns in all aspects of our lives not just in business and money.
