“This Land Was Made For You And Me” Not a democrat or republican message. Ir’s America’s conversation. This is quiet determination. We’ve learned to not chase the president down rabbit holes and to continue the discussion of need and want. Yeah Americans are scared, but not of the hordes of women and children thousands of miles away from our border. Not of the Fake news. Outlets can continue to spotlight Trump, and you will lose ratings doing it. America cares about topics that affect our daily lives, the fact that racism is a grey scale across the country, That abuse of power is not partisan, That civil rights are human rights and every human in America is promised the right to pursue happiness. The hate that is being created at the top of the Republican Party is simply highlighting the divide between Americans and political party. While the atmosphere is filled with ads of anger, and fear, and division, while down in the grass real conversations are being had. Americans are talking to each other, leaving many outdated politicians out of the conversation. Middle America doesn’t ride up on it’s high horse to fall in line with your optimistic statistics. Americans are uniting while politics divides. We shape party party does not form us. "I want to tell you...no one paid for me to come here. No one asked me to come here," Winfrey said at a rally in Marietta, adding that she is both an independent woman, and a registered political independent. "I came for myself and I approve this message." Winfrey, who took the stage to booming applause, said she wanted to come to Georgia to support Abrams because she saw how Abrams is "handling herself" amid an onslaught of "haters."
