Orang Pendek – Sumatra's Mysterious Small Humanoid Creature

Orang Pendek is a legendary creature that, according to local people, lives in the jungles of Sumatra. It is described as a small, bipedal, hairy, primate-like figure, usually under 1.5 meters (5 feet) tall. Numerous eyewitness accounts come from both local villagers and Western explorers who claim to have seen the creature. Researchers have speculated that it could be an unknown species of great ape or a surviving relative of Homo floresiensis.
