I met German Utria in the 5th grade in 1983 or so. Our friendship was forged on music, movies, food, and more. I also based the Gerry character in my films 1985-1986 and Cool Summer on this person who made (and continues to make) an indelible impact on me.In this interview we talk about how bands like Adam Ant, Duran Duran, and how Morrissey is NOT from LA!These videos are part of an ongoing video series chronicling the hardcore punk music scene.
