The Town of Crested Butte has received inquiries about the possibility of a single buyer purchasing large apartment or condo buildings and consolidating the units into fewer and 'more luxury' units. An ordinance in-the-works would keep that from happening. The town says the goal is to keep as many free-market units in town as possible.
