OrEd-T-17.1-Intro-Forgiveness and Healing1. In his own imagining the Son of God "sins" and is betrayed. But this is not his reality, which is forever sinless. In his dreams he has betrayed himself, his brothers, and his God. He does not need to be forgiven, but awakened, for dreaming is not reality. Dreams seem real because they are an illusion of reality, making it impossible to convince the dreamer that they are not real. The full release from dreams is only in waking, for only then is it seen that dreams have no effect on reality, not changing it at all. The purpose of fantasies is to change reality, which they cannot do. But fantasies can change reality in the mind that would have reality be different.2. It is my wish to change reality that is fearful. I think that because of my wish, I have accomplished what I wished. This strange position in a sense does acknowledge my power. Yet by distorting my power and devoting it to "evil," it is also made unreal. I cannot be faithful to two masters who ask conflicting things of me. What I use in fantasy I deny to truth. Yet, what I give to truth to use for me is safe from fantasy.
