Oregon Human Power Vehicle with Lonnie Morse
from Laidback Bike Report · host Gary Solomon
During the 1990s the west coast was a hotbed of recumbent biking innovation. A dedicated group of bent builders and riders began exchanging ideas and ride time and in Oregon the OHPV sprang to life. Lonnie Morse has been a key part of the group for most of the ensuing years and joins us to share some details and lots of great stories. Next we welcome back Italian bent enthusiast Marco Ruga. He wowed our viewers a few weeks ago with the amazing laidback creations he builds and the comments lit up demanding he come back to share more. He will talk about his latest racing bike and give us a glimpse into the dangers of riding on Italian roads. Finally, we are very excited to be a part of the TerraTrike Riderfest trike giveaway contest. Marketing director Marshall Randall will talk about WizWheelz trikes including TerraTrike, Greenspeed and KMX then answer all your questions in an AMA. To wrap it all up he will draw a name live for the winner of a new trike of your choice from among the Riderfest entries. You can watch the YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/I_qECN9b0ho**Clickable Table of Contents for this month’s video**00:00:00 Intro00:00:47 What’s on Today’s Show00:03:00 Panel Introduction00:06:12 Sponsor Introduction00:07:25 Lonnie Morse and the Oregon Human Powered Vehicle group past and present01:11:30 Marco Ruga on testing his racing bike build and the dangers of riding Italian roads 01:45:14 Marshall Randall with the WizWheelz trike lineup, AMA and Riderfest prize drawing02:20:15 Sponsor Thanks02:21:30 Recumbent Cycle-Con 2020 status update from Chuck Coyne02:23:05 Coming up next month02:25:00 How you can support the Laidback Bike ReportPlease subscribe to us on YouTube https://goo.gl/CHOOgX and Like us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/laidbackbikereport/ if you haven't already done so.
