Oregon State Lands Veteran Chris Johnson

Oregon State basketball is making a big splash with the commitment of Chris Johnson, a senior guard with NCAA Tournament experience and a proven three-point shot, as they gear up for their return to the Pac-12 in 2026. Johnson’s standout season at UCF—where he hit over 36% of his threes in 32 games—perfectly aligns with head coach Justin Joyner’s vision for a gritty, high-performing roster. With his scoring, passing, and veteran savvy, Johnson is seen as a key piece in Oregon State’s push to make an immediate impact and dominate their new conference landscape.
