Being a designer and entrepreneur by practice grown into a banking executive, Maurizio is striving to transform the banking industry from the inside. He is the founder of Erste Group’s inhouse fintech and for over 10 years has been a driving force behind the development of George, whose more than 9 million users across Austria and CEE make it the region’s leading banking platform. In January 2021, Maurizio joined the ranks of the Erste Group management board as the first-ever Chief Platform Officer.
