ORH: How our medical mission trips began

from Stories of Hope & Help · host ORH

In this discussion, we learn more about how Operation Renewed Hope began conducting medical mission trips. In the last episode, we heard about a church in Fayetteville, North Carolina that conducted a sports clinic in Panama after the fall of the Noriega regime.  During that sports trip, they became aware of the serious health needs among the villagers in Arenosa, Panama. To the best of their knowledge, the team only had one medical professional who could help them miniter to those health needs. But as we shall see, the Lord provided more than they could possibly imagine for their next trip. 34 years later, ORH is still conducting medical mission trips including a recent trip to a remote region of Uganda and an upcoming trip to the Cape Verde islands off the west coast of Africa.
