During the lunar flyby that occurred on April 6, 2026, the Artemis II crew flew around the Moon aboard the Orion spacecraft. The Artemis II astronauts gave lunar scientists a unique opportunity to gather data from human eyes and voices. These recordings provide context that complements imagery and other mission data, telling a more complete story. The following clips are the raw spoken lunar observations from the Artemis II crew and were released as part of the Artemis II Preliminary Science Report on Oct. 7, 2026.
