Origin Story - Noel Heikkinen
from Riverview Church Message Podcast Hosted by Various Teachers
n this message, Pastor Noel continues the series on the book of James by asking a pivotal question about the source of the wisdom guiding our lives. Examining James 3, he contrasts the horizontal, self-serving wisdom of the world—which manifests as envy, boasting, and selfish ambition—with the pure, peace-loving, and gentle wisdom that comes from above. Noel highlights that our actions and attitudes are a lagging indicator of our underlying nature, urging listeners not to focus solely on behavioral modification but to go upstream to the root source.
