Orioles Surge with Power & Pitching | Kansas City Royals News

Kyle Bradish dazzled on the mound, nearly throwing a no-hitter into the seventh inning as the offense exploded with three homers off Noah Cameron — including a standout performance from 21-year-old Samuel Basallo and power-hitting Coby Mayo. Pete Alonso added his 21st homer of the season, sealing a crucial win that keeps the Orioles on a four-game winning streak ahead of the All-Star break. While Bradish’s innings total raises concerns about workload, his command and pitch mix earned high praise. Today, they face the Royals’ Seth Lugo — who’s surprisingly effective against Baltimore — as the Orioles aim for their fifth straight win with Shane Baz on the hill and a high school outfielder already in their first-round draft.
