- The Winter Park woman accused of leaving her boyfriend to die in a suitcase is is expected back in court today. Today's hearing will determine if the trial for Sarah Boone will begin on Monday. Boone is charged with Second Degree Murder for the death of Jorge Torres Junior in 2020. - A disgraced former Central Florida professional guardian will be sentenced today. Rebecca Fierle was arrested in 2020 and charged with aggravated abuse and neglect of an elderly person. A deadlocked jury ended in a mistrial last September, but Fierle entered a plea of "no contest" to a lesser neglect charge. - More headlines
