Orlando Jones Double Feature: Double Take and Evolution
from A Tripp Through Comedy Hosted by Tripp and Ross
Our exit today has us fighting drug cartels and rapidly evolving aliens. This week, we are talking about a pair of features starring one of our first ever best supporting performance winners, Orlando Jones. First, we will be talking about Double Take, written and directed by George Gallo. Next, we will talk about Evolution, written by Don Jakoby, David Diamond and David Weissman and directed by Ivan Reitman. While Double Take has Orlando Jones as more of a straight man to Eddie Griffin’s character, Evolution allows Jones to be more of the comedic center. Along the way, we discuss Julianne Moore, Ghostbusters, Midnight Run, David Duchovny, Michael J. Fox, MadTV, alien creatures, lame action, Gilmore Girls, and plot twists galore! Theme music by Jonworthymusic. Powered by RiversideFM. CFF Films with Ross and friends. Movies We've Covered on the Show on Letterboxd. Movies Recommended on the Show on Letterboxd.
