The Bible tells us "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure." Ephesians 5:1 NLT Most guys operate as functional orphans; the result of wounds from the hands of our fathers, their absence; or from the hands of betrayals where we asked for help but were shamed.
