OSCAR Best Original Song Vol 1 - 1934-1970

La hoy famosa Academia de Artes y Ciencias de Hollywood, se creó en 1927, a raíz del deseo de Louis B. Mayer, presidente de la Metro Goldwyn Mayer de formar una organización que lidiase en los conflictos entre la industria y los sindicatos. Los miembros de dicho selecto club se reunirían una vez al año, pero no sería hasta 1929 cuando se premiarían las películas, actuaciones, guiones y dirección con la famosa estatuilla llamada Oscar. En el apartado musical la categoría de Mejor canción original no aparece hasta 1934 y desde entonces muchas canciones se han alzado con la estatuilla. Aquí os traeremos en tres podcast las canciones ganadoras en dicha categoría. En este primer volumen abarcamos los Oscars entre 1934 y 1970, donde descubriréis muchas canciones que quizá con el tiempo hayan conocido versiones mejores, pero hemos querido poner las originales que son las que consiguieron alzarse con el galardón.
