Oscar Pistorious sentencing continues today

A representative of a South African charity organisation will today testify on behalf of the convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius. The testimony will be Pistorius' last bid to convince the court to deviate from the prescribed minimum sentence of 15 years for murder. Pistorius is back in the Pretoria High Court after the Supreme Court of Appeal overturned his culpable homicide conviction last year, finding him guilty of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
