Our last movie for the series is so good, we just don’t have much to say about it. Get a story about two strong Southern women, wrap it in a beautiful plot about a pushover finally finding her own strength in the world, and give the bow of Jessica Tandy being the best storyteller ever. That’s all you need for this beautiful story about friendship, love, and the South. The cast is incredible, the writing is impeccable, and the directing is…well, it’s exactly what it needs to be. In fact, the only problem is the fact that this movie wasn’t able to get to the deeper romance between its two leads - and even then, it’s still pretty romantic.
