Lauren Broschak is an oncology-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the Life with Cancer team in May 2019. She received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan, where she specialized in clinical practice and health. She provides therapeutic support, resources and education to patients and their caregivers. Lauren serves as the Co-Chair for the Association of Oncology Social Work Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Special Interest Group, and has spoken at national conferences regarding the impact of cancer on AYAs. She has completed training through the Enriching Communication Skills for Health Professionals in Oncofertility (ECHO) program, and is currently attending the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program specializing in sex therapy and sexuality education.
