Guest Information: Lillian Guenther, MD Dana Farber Cancer Institute ... Dr. Guenther received her bachelor degree from Brown University and her MD from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She spent one year as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute/NIH Research Scholar studying osteosarcoma in Dr. Lee Helman’s laboratory at the National Cancer Institute. Lily is currently an Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and performs research in the lab of Dr. Kimberly Stegmaier. She cares for pediatric cancer patients at Boston Children’s Hospital and in the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  Dr. Guenther was a finalist for our OutSmarting Osteosarcoma Grant.  Our group of osteosarcoma families and Scientific Advisory Team found her research to be truly hopeful and innovative. ...
