This week on the OTCBPodcast we welcome the newest member of the Saskatchewan Rush, Matt Beers, and the captain of The OJLL Champions St. Catharines Athletics, Thomas Whitty. Beers had been a member of the Vancouver Warriors organization since they were the Washington Stealth, winning the NLL Championship in 2010. The heart and soul of the Warriors team, Beers will be a massive loss. But man, are the Rush gonna be an absolute wagon out the back end. Whitty took his game and teammates to another level in his final Jr A game on Saturday. An instant classic versus the Brampton Excelsiors, Whitty and the Athletics made up for the lost chance to win the Minto Cup by lifting the Iroquois Trophy and drinking some delicious milk. Plus, the NCBS final was outrageous, the HOF and NLL Draft will take place in Buffalo at the end of the month and we're taking a couple weeks off so we'll chat after the draft.
