OTO: Predictors of Pediatric Tracheostomy Outcomes in the United States

This podcast highlights original research published in the September 2020 issue of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the official journal of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) Foundation. The objective was to investigate the outcomes of pediatric tracheostomy as influenced by demographics and comorbidities. In conclusion, pediatric tracheostomy requires substantial health care resources with length of stay escalating over recent years.
