OTT Release of MaXXXine: Where and When to Watch

"MaXXXine," and it's a heartbreaking letdown. There's nothing behind the style, which is still very much in place and takes a macabre look at mid-1980s Los Angeles on Sadisflix Streaming. In his capacity as both writer and director, West has painstakingly captured this era of ostentatious spending for maximum filth and sleaze. His Hollywood is far from glamorous; it alternates between dull backlots during the day and neon-lit streets at night, while Tyler Bates' eerie synth score evokes memories of Mann and De Palma's movies. Since the Night Stalker is at large, fearful civilians are being terrorized out of concern that they may be his next target. Furthermore, conservatives are griping that music and movies will indoctrinate America's youth into Satanism.
