Our Brand is Crisis, Truth, Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, Burnt
In this week's Movie Date podcast, Rafer and Kristen review two movies about politics, one about zombies, and another about a very mean chef. The first political film is called "Our Brand is Crisis," and it centers on a campaign consultant (Sandra Bullock) who goes to Bolivia to help a candidate and fight her biggest rival. The second political film is called "Truth," and it's about the real 60 Minutes story in 2004 that questioned George W. Bush's military record, and brought down the careers of Mary Mapes and Dan Rather in the process. "Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse" is a horror comedy directed by the son of Michael Landon (yes, that Michael Landon). "Burnt" is about horrible man (Bradley Cooper) who happens to be a talented chef (this review is in the form of a parody radio play, so be ready for some sound effects!). And as always, there's trivia!
