To dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our lives is a prayer that we will experience God’s peace and wellbeing, God’s hope and love, God’s full possibilities and purposes for us in this life. We pray that we might experience and behold the beauty and majesty of this world and this life, that we are continuously filled with a sense of awe, appreciation, and wonder. We are the temples of God.
