Our Covenant of Provision Plus Increase. 3 Main ideas today: 1. Provision is a Covenant Issue. God has a part to play and we have a part to play. 2. We are to fertilize what we sow with the balanced fertilizer of a balance of the Word. 3. God's power and creative ability takes even the stinky things of life, like cow manure and can use them to enhance and bring beautiful things out from the seeds of faith we have sown. God can and WILL use whatever we have available to us. Key ideas: God is a good Father who operates through covenant with humanity. He decides what is in the covenant. We make a choice to enter into that covenant.We have a part to play, of faith and action to participate in the covenant. Everything we do during the day can be seen as a seed that we sow, from thoughts, to prayer, to choices, to work. We can expect a good harvest from our covenant for everything that we do/sow by faith into and for the purpose of the kingdom. We fertilize our seed with the rich nutrition of the Word. The best 'all purpose' fertilizer is BALANCED. We balance 'we have the power to obtain wealth with godliness with contentment is great gain. We continue to approach provision plus increase as an obedience/covenant issue not a greed, selfish ambitious issue. We recognize that we are stewards of what God has given us. It is not ours personally, it belongs to Him and is for HIs kingdom purposes. Allow the Lord to lead you into faith for provision for yourself and to help meet the needs for others. Know that whatever you have available, dirt, seed, time, prayer, work, relationships, etc. is what God WILL use. His covenant will operate for all people in all economies. We are called to plant and water, God is the one who gives the growth. Keep your focus on the process of sowing, and speaking and using your faith. You can trust God for the harvest. Need more help?
