Send us Fan Mail60 Seconds of Hope: Our Daily PrayerLoving God, in whom we live and move and have our being, give us a sense of your presence, of the sacred and the holy. Give us a sense of your love. Fill us with a sense of awe and wonder, with gratitude and appreciation. Let us create and sustain a world where no one fears not being able to get enough to eat, or a not having a place to sleep, or lacks access to healthcare and education.Let us create and sustain a world where people no longer fear for their physical safety, or fear speaking their minds, where people are free to worship you as they see fit. Forgive us for all the ways we have failed to love and honor you, for all the ways we have failed to love and honor ourselves, for all the ways we have failed to honor our neighbors as ourselves. Forgive us in particular for the wrongs that we did not personally commit, but still benefit from. Help us make these wrongs right. We pray that you keep us from hardship or suffering of any kind be their causes natural or human made. When they do occur, we pray that you allow us to come together to ameliorate them, to bind up the broken hearted, to heal our land. Finally we pray, in all of our words and deeds, our thoughts and desires, you give us the faith and hope to live our lives in love.
