our failure / suffer not alone

my track for the astounding TO OVERCOME SUFFERING benefit compilation (info and official page here: https://to-overcome-suffering.bandcamp.com/album/to-overcome-suffering) words: our failure was our savior our failure to comply we could not reach the prize tho we didnt try our failure was our razor to skin the bone that binds this wounded world of horror to the mirror of the mind it was no meek submission no peaceful sacrifice a violent refusal a servitude denied our failure was a victory over the law of life to conquer venal armies annihilate the prize our freedom was a phantom that haunts the house of pride no holy exorcism no earthly paradise the dead are sometimes living their rigormortic lies living blind and boastful while maggots eat their eyes our failure was the common thread through it we were sewn we suffer on our own but suffer not alone
