Our Family Tree | The Story of Ruth

Guest Speaker, James Bond | Ozark Christian College | October 12th, 2025A messy story of those who are far from God, being brought near to God. God honors the loyalty and faithfulness of Ruth, a Moabite woman, by welcoming her into the home of Boaz of Bethlehem. As a result, Ruth becomes the great-grandmother of King David, placing her in the lineage of Jesus. Just as the Israelites were to be a light to the nations, so the heart of God is that the church will welcome those who are far from God to be brought near to God.
