Rev 2 the church of Ephesus had abandoned their first love. In response God would remove His light, His presence if they did not change. The refining light of God is important part to our love with Him. God is challenging us to wake up and receive his illuminating love over our lives. To Remember our brokenness and need of Him, to Repent, turn back to Him and Return back to our action of first love.
