Our First Rodeo: Pageants

Welcome to the stage, Queer Coded Country! Hunter (Little Miss Dime Store Cowgirl) and Tucker (Miss Arkansas County Fluffy Rice) celebrate the launch of Queer Coded Country with a dive into a pillar of their friendship: Pageants. We get the lowdown on the origin of the podcast and they both answer some “get to know you questions” including: what’s the gayest thing about you, what’s the most southern thing about you, and what’s the most southern gay thing about you? Hunter and Tucker get into Southern pageant culture and how their towel-wrapped pageant intros ended up being more than just a silly roommate ritual. From flippers, to Drop Dead Gorgeous and samurai swords, Queer Coded Country *will* be crowned your new favorite podcast.
