Our God — What the Bible Says About the Trinity - Audio

The Trinity is the most contested doctrine in the history of the church. Jehovah's Witnesses reject it. Mormons reject it. Muslims reject it. Even some groups that call themselves Christian reject it. So why do we believe it — and where does it actually come from? In this episode we work through what Scripture says about who God is. Starting with Abraham and Moses, moving through some of the stranger and more complex moments in the Old Testament, and arriving at Jesus — whose claims about himself forced his earliest followers to completely rethink everything they thought they knew about God. The doctrine of the Trinity wasn't something the church invented. It's what the church discovered when they took the Bible seriously.
