Our GTA 5 PS5 Hopes, New DualSense Colors - Beyond Episode 701

On this week's episode of Podcast Beyond!, IGN's weekly PlayStation show, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Brian Altano and Max Scoville to dive into the latest PS4 and PS5 news. The cast discusses GTA 5's PS5 release date confirmation and our hopes for what the third version of GTA 5 on consoles can offer for both newcomers and returning players. Along with that, we discuss the enduring success of GTA Online, and what we hope to see of Rockstar's emphasis on GTA 3's 20th anniversary later this year. We also discuss the DualSense's two new colors, set to come out on June 11, including what we think of them, what we hope Sony's further approach to offering new controller colors will be, and why we really just want to have an official way to get PS5 faceplates customized. Plus, we discuss The Last of Us Part 2 PS5 performance patch, get in some Sackboy-meets-Returnal breaking news, and touch a bit more (spoiler free) on Resident Evil Village.
