Our Hope and Inheritance is Protected by God!

Jesus Christ reigns Supreme over all of Creation!   As the great Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Colossae, “For by Him all thing were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him.”   Peter tells us that we are protected by the power of God!  The hope of our salvation and our eternal inheritance is secure in Him.  It must be added though, His power to save and secure is based upon our faith.  Notice Peter says we, “who are protected by God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”   We are told by Paul that faith comes by hearing and responding to the word of God.  Peter also confirms, “that His divine power has granted to us everything we need for life and godliness through the true knowledge of Him who called us into His own glory and excellence.”  Let us then discover the great power by which we are protected and the amazing faith that we can possess by listening to and humbly following the word of the Lord Jesus!  The post Our Hope and Inheritance is Protected by God! appeared first on Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.
