8/9/23 - Today we'll explore one of history's most well-known Marian apparitions, Our Lady of Guadalupe. In 1531, Our Lady appeared to Juan Diego near Mexico City. She brought with her a request that a church be built in her honor. Also unique is the fact that the Blessed Mother revealed herself to Juan Deigo by name, stating: "I want you to know for certain, my dear son, that I am the perfect and always Virgin MARY, Mother of the True God from Whom all life comes, the Lord of all things, Creator of Heaven and Earth."
