from 50 years of Terry Meiners radio bits

Steve Taylor, assistant director of the Louisville Zoo, made friends with elephant Punch back in 1975. It was Steve's new job and he had no idea he'd stay for half a century. Kyle Shepherd, a 14 year Louisville Zoo associate, joined Steve on WHAS Radio to tell the tale of the upcoming departure of both of our beloved elephants Mikki and Punch.There is an upcoming public celebration for Mikki and Punch and the Louisville Zoo would love to add your elephant photos to their collection.Details within the interview audio.
