OUR MINDSET CAN MAKE US GROW OR BECOME STAGNANT

from NcourageMe: Daily Encouragement · host NcourageME

Where is your thought process today? What have you started out to accomplish and then later on say that it's too much to do it? Our minds can produce growth and cause us to be in stagnation. When we become born again, this is a made up mind process. As believers we ought to have the mind of Christ according to what the scripture days. "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ 1 Cor 2:16." A mind that is not focused on the things of the Lord will always stray. A mind that is not focused on the things of the Lord will always worry, complain, feel hopeless and the list goes on. James 1:8 declares that "double minded man is unstable in all his ways." Philippians 4:6-7 tells us to: 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us New International Version 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts My friends, speak positively over your life. Don't let your heart be trouble. Once you change your mindset, growth will automatically takes place. Growth cannot happen if we as believers are stuck in our own ways and will not accept the idea of change. We as children of God has a choice to make. Will we stay stuck in our old mindset and not allow growth to happen or will we be open to see the prospects of change that will happen? The ball is in our courts. Another thing that I realized why many people are not growing today and their mindset is cloudy is as a result of being in the wrong environment. You cannot plant a mango in a cold winter country during the heart of winter and expect it to grow. If you were to do so in countries.like Jamaica, Mexico, Trinidad, USVI, or any other tropical countries chances are it will grow in no time. Just like the mango seed, us as believers has to be in the right environment to grow. Many of us are staying in those environments because of comfort or the fact that we don't want to hurt anyone. Listen, you cannot wear a size nine shoes and try to fit your feet in a size 6 shoes....it won't work. We have know when our time is up within those environments and move on. Not everyone will celebrate you. Not everyone will be happy for you. Keep focus on God and move forward. Here are some mindset hacks that can help you improve your thinking and achieve your goals: Practice gratitude: Recognize the positives in your life to shift your mindset towards abundance. Set realistic goals: Set goals that are achievable so you don't get discouraged. Embrace failure: View failure as an opportunity to learn and grow. Visualize success: Visualizing success can help you reach your goals. Surround yourself with positive people: Surround yourself with people who can support you. Take on challenges: Embrace change and be willing to take risks. Develop a growth mindset: A growth mindset involves being open to change and learning from your mistakes.
