He had just arrived home from a stellar overseas career and had been appointed player-coach of Brisbane Strikers, a team he was to lead to an NSL championship in front of a record hometown crowd of over 42,000 people in Brisbane. When the Diegos spoke to Frank there was no media training or politically correct way of handling radio interviews. Frank was a straight shooter who called a spade a spade and the Four Diegos dagos.
