Our New Neighbors, Ep. 24 - Laura Angelica Espino Del Angel

Laura Angelica Espino Del Angel says she came from her native Mexico to Central New York for love, to join the man she would soon marry. That was 22 years ago, in 2002. Today, Laura is a U.S. citizen, and she and her husband have a beautiful family with three children. Laura is part of the Syracuse City School District’s Refugee Assistance Program, also known as “Bob’s School,” where she works with refugees and immigrants every day. Laura tells her story to co-hosts Maryna Bagovska and Ibrahim Mohamed in this edition of Our New Neighbors.
