Our Own Journey with Orla Gibney

In this episode I chat to Orla Gibney about the unexpected part of her journey, when her third baby Eoghan was born profoundly deaf in November 2014 and how she found her passion in advocating for Deaf Awareness and Irish Sign Language.Orla started keeping a journal when he was 2 years old and created a beautiful blog called Our Own Journey which can be found on facebook and also on Instagram.  Her blog has evolved over time and is intended to help and support parents of not only deaf children, but anyone that has received a child diagnosis. I am calling this Part 1 of my chat with Orla as She has so much more to share with us all.
