Our Savior Jesus Christ: 9. You must be Born Again!

1. Those who have faith in Jesus, who were born of God, he gave power of becoming sons of God (John 1:12-13) 2. One must be born again of water and the Holy Spirit before he can see or enter the kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5) 3. That which is born of the [Holy] Spirit is spirit [mind], not flesh. (John 3:6) 4. Water Baptism, being immersed under the water in a watery grave, represents our having died with Christ. Our coming up out of the water represents our rising from the dead just as Christ rose from the dead. Since those who are dead are acquitted of sin so are we who rise from the watery grave acquitted of sin. We are completely free of sin, our old sinning self has died in the watery grave, we are now free to start over, in God's eyes we have been reborn free of sin and can start our life all over again. We can now go forward and walk in the newness of a sin-free life obeying God's laws with a new heart-felt spirit. (Romans 6:1-23) 5. Walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4) 6. The old self has been crucified with Christ (Romans 6:6) 7. Obey from the heart (Romans 6:17) 8. Serve in a new spirit (Romans 7:6) 9. Our inner man is being Renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16) 10. Those who have faith in Jesus, are children of God (Galatians 3:26) 11. I will put my laws into their mind (Hebrews 8:10) 12. The Father has begotten us by the word of truth (James 1:18) 13. The sojourners of the Dispersion had been born again through the word of God (1 Pet 1:1,23) 14. The Father has begotten us again through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3) 15. Crave, as newborn babes, pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow to salvation (1 Peter 2:2) 16. If you do what is just you have been born of Jesus (1 John 2:29) 17. If you are born of God, you do not commit sin (1 John 3:1, 9-10; 1 John 5:18) 18. Everyone who loves is born of God (1 John 4:7) 19.
