Our Skype Chat with Miss King in New Zealand

On Wednesday 6th December at 9.30 am (UK time) - 10.30pm (NZ time) we sat down as a class to have a chat with Allanah King in New Zealand. The skype link worked perfectly and we were easily able to hear each other. We spent 25 minutes quizzing Miss on New Zealand and her school - it was great fun for us, we hope that it wasn't too stressful the other end!!!We learnt a great deal about the country of New Zealand and its many sheep, in addition to learning more about Appleby School.This coming week on Tuesday evening for us (Wednesday morning in the other side of the World) we are planning to talk directly to our pen pals as they begin their school day - how cool is that. It will certainly be the chance for us to catch up with all of the news from both classes and both countries. Both classes are really looking forward to it - so watch this space...
