Our speacial guest this morning is none other than the quintessential Noxolo Grootboom

#LegendaryWednedays #SpecialGuest|After 37 years in the industry, the iconic broadcaster Noxolo Grootboom read the isiXhosa news bulletin for the very last time last week Tuesday on SABC 1.The legendary anchor inspired a nation through her stellar news reading skills and her iconic signature sign-off, “Ndinithanda nonk’ emakhaya”, that warmed homes every evening.  She started at the public broadcaster as a typist in the 1980s, and then worked her way onto the television TV screen and behind the scenes where she's also worked as editor on the isiXhosa news desk.
