In this deeply personal episode, I reflect on the journey that gave birth to the LoTus M Mighty podcast — a journey rooted in love, advocacy, healing, and the courage to use my voice.What began as a desire to inspire others became something even more meaningful: a path of internal transformation, growth, and purpose. This podcast has not only been a space for empowerment, but also a place where I have done some of my deepest healing.I share the story of my youngest son — my miracle — whose diagnosis and open heart surgery at just two and a half months old forever changed me. Sitting beside him during his most vulnerable moments, I made a promise to him. I promised that I would protect him, that I would always see his worth, and that I would advocate for his safety, dignity, and beautiful quality of life.That promise continues to guide me today.Through the challenges our family has faced, I have learned that advocacy is not born from anger, but from love — fierce, unwavering love. I have learned that our hardest moments can shape us into stronger, more compassionate versions of ourselves. And I have learned that using my voice is not only how I protect my child, but how I help create change for others.This episode is also my heartfelt thank you to this incredible community.
