Our Surprises and Disappointments of 2017

Eschewing the standard “best of” highlights reel that usual ends a year, we at Codec Moments tackle things a bit differently by looking at what our surprises and disappointments are from the last 12 months.  Games of the Year are usually fairly predictable (and deserving), and if you only focus on them you might miss out on some gems that don’t get as much coverage.  Equally, that game you’ve been lusting after for 18 months might turn out to be a total lemon.  Here are our picks from 2017, and we’ve brought special guest Ali Cornwall in to lend us his thoughts… Maybe we’ve managed to escape the crazy Scotsman that keeps leaving us lengthy voicemails?!
