         Our Time is Now 2014! Dream Catchers with Les Paul!  Our time is now not yesterday, not tomorrow, not any other decade or so in the future! It’s now and I mean it! Let’s make 2014 a banner year for survivors worldwide!!! Many people have been fighting the fight for brain injury survivors and people with disabilities for a long time and yet sadly it seems that we’ve made little stride ahead, but I believe differently than that because I have seen and personally know people are fighting hard in the trenches, but we need more to join us in the fight! I have the proof! There was no Brain Injury Radio Survivor’s Network, a little over three and half years ago. Now survivors do truly have a voice. But are we using it? The answer is yes no and all of the above. What I teach where I work at Walton options as a peer supporter advocate is the person with the disability has the choices to make to live a self-directed empowered life will you join me, will you join me??? We as survivors have got to stand up and fight, starting now! It’s time to go to battle using kindness, peace and love, but words of strength. To do sit ins, act up, and even be willing to be arrested if it should come to that if we know were standing for a cause that is worthy injustice and it is join me now.
