It was the time of Watergate, Vietnam, and psychedelic counter-culture for America in the 1970s: but how did that translate to film and pop culture? Many say the 70s was the "Golden Era of Film," a time when studios took more risks and directors such as Speilberg, Scorcese, Kubrick, and Coppola turned themselves into household names.
